In this key role, you ll manage production, supervise staff, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and maintain high-quality standards across all aspects of our plant. High SchoolResponsibilitiesThe Plant Supervisor oversees all aspects of ready-mix concrete plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across production and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily plant operations including safety, production, maintenance, and quality. Supervise plant staff and drivers to ensure smooth, efficient operations. Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations. Operate computerized batching systems to produce high-quality concrete. Maintain adequate inventory and schedule material deliveries per customer needs. Monitor delivery schedules for timeliness, safety, and efficiency. Inspect facilities, equipment, and trucks to uphold maintenance and housekeeping standards. Troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain reliable plant operations. Review and maintain accurate operational records and reports. Train, direct, counsel, and discipline employees as needed. Promote a safe and productive work environment with strong team collaboration. Maintain positive relationships with co-workers and external partners. Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
