Full Job Description Description:
Effectively manages the day-to-day services for all Bond facilities, maintenance, housekeeping, grounds, and building equipment activities. Responsible for ensuring buildings and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and operational, while managing budgets and staff.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing building projects and renovations, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors. Keeping detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and other relevant information. Investigating and resolving facility-related problems, including maintenance, and other issues. Working to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Manages maintenance and housekeeping staff daily schedule and work assignments. Approves time sheets and time off request for maintenance and housekeeping staff. Monitors the work of contractors whose services have been engaged to perform repairs or installations. Monitors and coordinates contractual agreements for facility equipment maintenance and/or repairs. Responds to all building emergencies after hours. Monitors heating/air conditioning equipment to ensure the equipment is operating properly. Responds to complaints about air and temperatures and report complaints to COO. Make routine repairs or get contractors to make emergency repairs. Oversee technical work and coordinates all building maintenance and janitorial activates indoors and outdoors. Manages and coordinates agreements with contact vendors. Manages and schedules maintenance support for room or ground set-up for meetings or special events. Monitors room set-ups for after hour meetings. All other duties that may be assigned.
Essential Skills:
The ability to effectively communicate with staff, vendors, and stakeholders, and lead and motivate teams. The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and keep track of deadlines and schedules. A strong understanding of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations. The ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively. Manage budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities. The ability to provide friendly and efficient service to employees and customers.
Education and experience:
High school diploma required Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred Five years of related experience Required skills and qualifications: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Impeccable attention to detail Excellent time management skills Ability to think proactively Excellent multitasking and organizational skills Preferred qualifications: Experience working with a wide variety of software programs Professional Facilities Management certification HVAC certification
