Nature of work:
The Detail Manager is primarily responsible for coordination between the customer and Automotive Detail employees. They determine the type of service necessary, the time needed for completion and who will perform the work. They directly oversee the efforts of the wash and detailing departments at a specific location ensuring the highest levels of quality. The Detail Manager is also responsible for creating an organizational system, tracking all necessary product inventory and equipment needed to perform the required duties. They communicate regularly with their Territory Manager.
Typical Duties:
Help maintain a safe and organized workspace Communicate with Service Advisors and Technicians to facilitate auto-placement Communicate with Service Advisors regarding detail services, repairs, and estimates for time completion Performs vehicle drop-off inspection, recommends maintenance & documents existing damages Identifies, manages, and orders all detailing department products & equipment. Ensures limited waste keeping expenses low. Facilitates and conducts all detailing department duties Performs other duties as requested Leads and monitors the performance of a team of 3-5 Automotive Detailers Creates and or monitors the bi-weekly schedule

Demonstrates extreme attention to detail Ability to analyze written and verbal instructions Ability to write, present and respond to customers and staff members in a professional manner Ability to lead, train and support detailing and shop personnel Ability to handle high-stress situations

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSE / OTHER REQUIREMENTS
