Building Maintenance Cocowalk Lifestyle Center 3015 Grand Avenue, Miami, FL 33133 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all building systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on customer service and leadership within the maintenance team. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Fabricate and weld components as necessary to maintain or improve building infrastructure. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems. Lead small maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to standard. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory of supplies used. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and functional environment for all building occupants. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Proficiency in electrical work, including understanding of schematics. Experience in welding and fabrication is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide a small team effectively. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills in English. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
