As a Facilities and Maintenance Manager you will oversee and maintain the operations and functionality of the administrative building and facilities. This position will ensure it is safe, secure, and well-maintained, while also complying with relevant regulations. This includes managing day-to-day operations, maintenance, repairs, and other aspects like cleaning and security. Functions Include:
Overseeing the day to day functions of the organization’s facilities to ensure that the buildings are properly maintained. Manage the organization’s current security, lawn service, external maintenance (GC), and janitorial contracts to ensure that scope of work are fulfilled as outlined in their agreement with CFCE. Conduct inspections of both cottages inside/ outside to ensure overall safety and note the necessary repairs needed. Responsible for completing safety checks and complete the required documents detailing deficiencies to all CFCE facilities. Lead all building projects that requires input on building/ facilities layout and access to all facilities. Oversee regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repairs. Ensure the safety and security of building occupants and facilities by adhering to regulations and implementing safety protocols. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Respond to repair tickets for building repairs within 24 hours. Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance, repairs, contracts, and other relevant documentation. Identify and address facility issues and concerns promptly and efficiently
Minimum Education/Experience:
Position requires High School Diploma/Post/ Secondary Trade or Vocational Schools Five (5) years related on-the-job training or technical training or experience in areas like HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems. Recognized certification in one of the following required: HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems.
