This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks while demonstrating a strong background in industrial maintenance. Key areas of expertise include electrical, electronics, PLC systems, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems. The Maintenance Lead will also help supervise plant facilities in collaboration with the department supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs. Interpret schematics and blueprints to diagnose and repair machinery. Promote, support, and enforce

quality standards as they apply to the maintenance department. Perform and document scheduled maintenance activities; report defects or inconsistencies to management. Ensure strict adherence to company policies and safety procedures. Work with the Purchasing Department to source and procure repair parts. Collaborate with various departments to maintain operational services throughout the plant. Report discrepancies, issues, and policy violations to management. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities The Maintenance Lead is responsible for supervising all personnel in the Maintenance Department. Qualifications Candidates should have hands-on experience and working knowledge of industrial control systems including PLC-based, digital, and analog controls, as well as mechanical systems. This experience should come from a mid-sized manufacturing environment. To perform this role successfully, candidates must be able to fulfill each essential duty with competence. Education and Experience Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, OR 5-10 years of relevant maintenance experience and/or training, OR An equivalent combination of education and experience. Training Requirements On-the-job training provided, tailored to the individual’s prior education and experience.
Required training may include:
“Right to Know” Safety Training (must be completed within the first three months of employment). Language Skills Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operational manuals, and maintenance instructions. Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and team interaction. Mathematical Skills Competence in basic and advanced mathematical concepts, including: Probability, statistics, geometry, trigonometry Application of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical scenarios Reasoning Ability Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work with limited standardization and adapt to unique challenges. Proficient in interpreting various forms of instructions (written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based).
