What are you going to do Brunel is currently searching for a Maintenance Planner I for a contract to potentially direct hire with our mining client located in Miami, Arizona. This role will require someone to be located in Miami, AZ. If not local, a $200/day stipend will be provided to cover costs of lodging, food and transportation. (local is considered within 80 miles to site) As a Maintenance Planner, you will support the supervisor in all facets of job preparation, execution and follow-up including time spent in the field to ensure readiness and availability of materials and equipment.
Duties:
- Under the guidance of the Equipment Reliability Standards (ERS) closely interacts with the Supervisor in the assigned area to establish and monitor planned schedules for assigned activities.
- Participate in planning meetings.
- Re, prioritize and schedule work orders.
- Responsible for “runtime” forecasting process
- Develop, monitor and adjust schedules for assigned activities and maintain activity in SAP.
- Coordinate with Global Supply Chain to control warehouse levels of materials and parts.
- Collaborate with senior planners and supervisors in planning and organization for planned major production shutdowns.
- Provide data to support maintenance management decisions, including budgets and weekly forecasting.
- Generate KPI reports Essential skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Diploma AND 4 years of Field Maintenance in mining, manufacturing or industrial operations or two years of specific planning experience in field maintenance OR
- Associates and 2 years’ experience OR
- Bachelor’s and 1 year experience
- General knowledge of workflow Maintenance Planning/Scheduling
- Basic understanding of Mining and/or Process Equipment
- Working proficiency in MS Office
- Basic understanding of maintenance management systems such as SAP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- MUST be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer without the need for sponsorship.
- Knowledge of Mechanical or electrical maintenance background.
- Experience conducting preventative/predictive maintenance procedures in an industrial setting.
- Experience with equipment repair, overhauls and job planning.
