Role Description:

The Maintenance & Renovation Project Manager is responsible for all the renovations and maintenance operations of the properties. In this role you’ll be responsible for making sure that every renovation project goes according to as planned and within our budget. You’ll oversee and provide support to the maintenance team of each property to ensure that the interior and exterior buildings, houses, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the properties meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Responsibilities:

Negotiate and renegotiate contracts for renovation and maintenance projects. Manage all project documentation including contracts, budgets, and schedules. Track project timelines and costs. Assist in the coordination of all parties involved in the project, which include the owners, management team, contractors, and subcontractors. Monitor the progress of the projects on a regular basis and maintain constant contact with contractors and subcontractors. Oversee all aspects of project management for renovations, including general contracting, renovation estimation, scheduling, and quality control. Manage building infrastructure maintenance for all properties. Coordinate with contractors and management team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Regularly travel to various project sites for supervision and coordination. Perform all other duties as assigned. Responsible for making draw requests from lender.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in renovations and maintenance. Proficiency in construction management practices. Experience & proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Property Management System. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively. Must be willing to work long hours if necessary. Ability to work on-site and travel as required. Bilingual (English & Spanish).
