Major duties include vendor scheduling, scheduling and coordinating repairs, creating and initiating maintenance schedules.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES 1.

Coordinate facility maintenance and schedule repairs for Administration Headquarters, Centralized Hub, Retail Stores, Donation Xpress (DX) sites. 2. Supervise internal maintenance staff. 3. Maintain and administer organization`s computerized work order system. 4. Prepare, implement and oversee departmental manpower schedules and daily work assignments with respect to priorities and needs. 5. Prepare, oversee and maintain monthly training sessions for maintenance staff. 6. Authorize and oversee all contracted maintenance by outside vendors. 7. Maintain open, clear lines of communication, both written and verbal, with department staff, store personnel and all team members. 8. Audit work, by team members and vendors, in maintenance, repair and alterations of all GICF facilities, including correcting and coaching, if warranted. 9. Estimate and order materials and supplies. 10. Direct, oversee, and audit the preventative maintenance and minor repairs of all electrical, plumbing, sprinkler and air distribution systems. 11. Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and work cooperatively to provide quality service. 12. Assume role as the Safety and Risk Ambassador, responsible for ensuring that all Goodwill safety programs and policies are followed within the team. 13. Evaluate performance of department personnel. 14. Provide inter-departmental training as appropriate.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES 1.

Responsible for the inventory and maintenance of the department`s resources, including equipment, hand tools, supplies and construction back stock. 2. Source and procure specialty items as needed. 3. Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES

Experience:

High School education is required. A minimum of five (5) years’ construction and/or maintenance experience and one (1) year experience in a supervisory role.

Math Ability:

Level 2: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has supervisory responsibilities but no subordinate supervisors.

Purchasing Authority:

Purchasing Authority Level – Managers/Coordinators

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

1. Regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. 2. Vision abilities required by this job include: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 3. Sitting, standing or walking for long periods of time. 4. Perform work outside and inside; exposure to weather conditions, dust, dirt, electricity, noise, fumes and chemicals. 5. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic).

Language Ability:

Level 4: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and public.

Reasoning Ability:

Level 4: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

License and Certifications:

Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record and current private auto insurance policy.
