Maintenance Manager Secret Enterprises LLC Kissimmee, FL 34744 Job Summary We’re a lifestyle resort looking for a Facilities director to ensure that building and their features remain neat, well-maintained, and safe. These responsibilities also extend to the grounds on which buildings are situated. You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine inspections on our equipment to ensure they are running smoothly. The ideal person for this job is a proven team leader and a problem solver who is an experienced Engineering Manager. The Facilities Director works with the inhouse maintenance team to make sure the building and grounds are maintained, which includes determining and scheduling regular maintenance, repairs and renovation projects. This position must oversee scheduled work as well as negotiate with outside vendors for supplies, repairs and other measures. A Facilities Director keeps tools and equipment working smoothly for a company. Their duties include scheduling regular pm procedures and troubleshooting and repairing in house maintenance challenges Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and/or make recommendations regarding repairs Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol Conduct inspections of electrical systems Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree At least 10 years of Director of Engineering/Facilities experience Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques Available to be on call and respond to maintenance emergencies on nights and weekends Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers, and small hand tools Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Benefits/Perks 401K Plan Health Benefits Package Career Advancement
