Job Summary:
The Commercial HVAC Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HVAC service department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to commercial clients. This role involves managing a team of HVAC technicians, coordinating service schedules, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Supervise and lead a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Recruit, hire, and onboard new technicians as needed. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Supervise Service Coordinator:
Schedule and dispatch technicians for service calls, ensuring timely and efficient response to customer needs. Monitor and manage service requests, work orders, and job progress. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of service activities.
Customer Relations:
Maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly. Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction. Handle escalated customer issues and complaints.
