Maintenance Director The Care Center at Pinellas Park 8701 49th Street North, Pinellas Park, FL 33782 Job Summary The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of maintenance personnel while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices, including high voltage systems, and be proficient in reading schematics and using tools such as voltmeters. Duties Supervise and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory management, and compliance documentation. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimize disruption to operations. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities. Troubleshoot issues with machinery and electrical systems effectively using mechanical knowledge. Train staff on proper maintenance procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and perform troubleshooting tasks. Familiarity with high voltage systems is preferred. Proficiency in using tools such as voltmeters for electrical diagnostics. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Strong command of English for clear communication within the team and across departments.
