These are required and supplied by Publix. (Incumbent will obtain the ADA and Hazwoper once hired) Knowledge of Industrial Construction including Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Refrigeration, Electrical, and Roofing Systems Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Office 2000, Windows Knowledge of regional building codes and other regulatory agency requirements Knowledge of Warehousing/Distribution and Manufacturing Ability to be detailed oriented Ability to be proactive Technical skills Communication/listening skills Organizational skills Ability to evaluate costs and estimates Time management skills Problem solving skills Stress tolerance and adaptability skills Ability to be comfortable in addressing large groups Willingness to work long hours, nights, weekends and holidays when necessary. General Contractors or Building Contractors License Continuing education with the CILB (Construction Industry Licensing Board) Knowledge of Publix vision and mission statement, as well as Publix policies and guidelines Hours of Work Minimum 45 hours per week Frequency of Pay Monthly Minimum Base Pay 5,775 Maximum Base Pay 8,660 Potential Annual Base Pay with Bonus 75,075 – 112,580 Year End Bonus As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
