LOTO Full Job Description Essential Duties:
1. Work closely with Engineering and Operations to complete all mechanical/electrical projects. 2. Supervise and guide maintenance mechanics in executing daily tasks and projects. 3. Change over and adjust all JPL machines (JIM, Tape, WEB) as production schedule warrants 4. Read blue prints and fabricate, assemble and install per drawing. 5. Troubleshoot and repair major and minor issues on all JPL equipment 6. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision 7. Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiringPLC issues 8. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment 9. Keeps an organized and clean maintenance department 10. Responsible for orderingmaintaining parts inventory. 11. All other duties as assigned by plant supervisor
Required Qualifications:
1. High School diploma required at minimum 2. Minimum 7 years of related work experience. 3. Vocational or related training in mechanical fields preferred 4. Must have good knowledge of 3 Phase Electrical Power, Industrial Control Circuitry, and ability to read electrical schematics. Must also have understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) and AC Inverters. 5. Must have good knowledge of pneumatic operations and controls 6. Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and pneumatic problems on equipment 7. General knowledge of safety guidelinesOSHA requirements (lock out/tag out, etc) 8. Experienced and proven welder (mig, tig and arc) 9. Solid fabricating experience for miscellaneous parts, guards, racks, stands, etc 10. Basic knowledge of computer and general software 11. Experience in fast paced manufacturing facility preferred
