Maintenance Supervisor 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 1800 West 1st Street, Sanford, FL 32771 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor, to oversee the maintenance operations at our apartment community . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management, including HVAC systems, industrial maintenance, and project management. This role is critical in ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Duties:

Manage daily maintenance activities to ensure the facility operates smoothly and efficiently. Manage Work Orders, Turns, Make readies Provide outstanding customer service Organizational and Time Managment skill Oversee the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance projects and minimize downtime. Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance activities. Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to improve operational reliability. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the maintenance department. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities management Customer service Strong knowledge of HVAC systems CPO certification and hands on experience Proficient in using CMMS software for effective maintenance tracking and reporting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Appliance, Plumbing and Electrical repair Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in diagnosing issues. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments. A proactive approach to managing tasks with a focus on continuous improvement.
