Facilities Maintenance Manager South Ponte Vedra Ocean Club Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.). Ensure all common areas, restrooms, kitchens, pools, and outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and in good working order. Conduct minor repairs, including painting, carpentry, and general handyman work. Assist with setting up and breaking down furniture or equipment for events. Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance, repairs, and other relevant documents. Identify and report potential maintenance issues to management. Communicate with external contractors and vendors Follow all safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. Keep supervisors informed of any damage to, or any problems with, and club facilities or property.
Requirements:
Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks, including bending, climbing, and standing for long periods. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Basic knowledge of AV and IT systems preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Relevant certifications in facilities management or related disciplines are a plus.
