We are an Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled. Overview The Service Office Manager is responsible for the overall management of all aspects of Service at the store location. This includes areas of customer satisfaction, service department efficiency, quality control and performance improvement, as well as maintaining an excellent level of operational and financial results. The role has a strong people management and development component including managing employee productivity, training staff, ensuring adequate staff presence and coverage, and approving time. Strong communication skills with customers, vendors and other departments within the organization is a key success factor in this role. The Service Office Manager will be required to confidently work under pressure given the wide range of internal and external service office needs and output.
Essential Duties:
Managing the day-today operations of a service department Developing and implementing service standards and procedures for the service department Supervising other members of the service office team Maintaining customer relationships Assuring that customers are satisfied with their service department experience Maintaining accurate records for each repair performed by the service department. Improving response and delivery times for customers Updating service methods to improve overall efficiency. Resolving service problems and customer complaints Conducting performance reviews of team members and identifying areas for improvement Instructing customers on equipment operation, care and maintenance. Education, Skills and Qualifications A High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required. Five to seven experience in a role involving supervising people and/or projects. Must have knowledge of computers, calculators and other office equipment needed to perform duties. Basic math and literacy skills required to perform duties. Must be able to effectively resolve problems and work courteously with the public and staff in all situations. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and service delivery standards Strong leadership ability and team spirit Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Problem-solving skills Experience working on multiple projects and managing teams is required Must be detail-oriented to ensure quality customer service while maintaining high standards for accuracy Ability to work well under pressure.
Working Conditions:

Working conditions include but are not limited an office and/or warehouse environment including air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned environments, such as shop floor where there is heat, machines, lubricants, etc. Must comply with all safety requirements of the company.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Demands include standing and walking in excess of 50% of the time, sitting and bending also. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and use a computer to effectively perform the functions of the job. Physical ability to lift a 15-50 lbs.
