Maintenance Supervisor (part of IHG Hotels & Resorts) 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Daytona Beach, FL 32118 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to assist the Chief Engineer with overseeing our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on high voltage systems and facilities management. This role requires effective supervision skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Implement and manage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers, using tools such as voltmeters. Oversee high voltage maintenance tasks, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with other departments to prioritize maintenance requests and ensure minimal disruption to operations. Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used. Requirements Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. MUST have at least 6 months experience working in related field. Proficient in using CMMS software for managing maintenance operations. Knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications, is essential. Familiarity with logic controllers and troubleshooting techniques. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
