- 37 an hour We are actively assisting our client in the search for a skilled Mechanical Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity.

The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of critical facility systems such as compressors, boilers, chillers, HVAC units, and supporting infrastructure. This role plays a key part in ensuring uninterrupted facility performance through regular inspections, maintenance planning, fuel usage optimization, and rapid response to system issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance of facility mechanical systems
Supervise activities related to equipment operation and repair across utility functions
Lead and train maintenance staff, promoting safety and continuous improvement
Collaborate with other departments to support smooth, integrated facility operations
Ensure documentation of maintenance work, inspections, and system adjustments
Respond to system failures with urgency and implement corrective actions
Mechanical Systems Covered:
Air Compressors
- Oil checks, filter changes, drainage, and dryer operation tests
NMP Recovery - Motor lubrication, fan belt replacements, pump vibration monitoring
A/C Towers - Lubrication and V-belt replacements
Steam Boilers - Water softener maintenance, LNG line inspection, fuel management
Hot Oil Boilers - Fan and pump inspections, tank moisture removal, LNG safety checks
Chillers - Strainer cleaning, lubrication, and cooling tower service
HVAC Systems - Fan lubrication, sensor inspection, filter and belt maintenance
Cleanroom Systems (BCU / BFU / FFU) - Filter changes and pressure checks
Qualifications:
Proven experience supervising mechanical maintenance operations in a facility or utility environment
Strong understanding of mechanical systems including boilers, chillers, compressors, and HVAC
Ability to interpret technical documentation and implement preventative maintenance plans
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
Safety-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and leadership
