It involves active participation in management initiatives, focusing on achieving high standards in safety, quality, and productivity within a food production environment. Duties include evaluating system efficiencies, recommending and implementing improvements, and guiding the team in advanced troubleshooting and maintenance practices. You’ll oversee team performance, ensuring adherence to professional standards and company policies, while fostering their career growth. Emphasis is placed on enhancing Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs across all facility equipment. Proficiency in using a CMMS for managing work orders and inventory is required. Expertise in controls and electrical systems, including PLCs and servo controllers, is essential. Furthermore, the role requires adeptness in repairing automated packaging machinery and handling various process equipment like pumps and valves. A sound understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and typical facility support systems, as well as the ability to interpret technical schematics, is necessary.
