Shop Foreman Creative Closets and More 1146 King Industrial Drive NE, Marietta, GA 30062 Shop Foreperson The shop Foreman provides leadership to their crew and is an integral role in our success. This motivated individual is responsible for the manufacturing process running reliably and efficiently. This Individual will oversee shop production, materials, inventory, equipment and tools to ensure efficiency is maintained, and projects remain on schedule, while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Responsibilities
- Direct 12+ employees in the manufacturing department acting as the first point of contact for workflow and personnel resources. Including training new hires, performance reviews, time-off approvals, scheduling, and corrective actions.
- Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines and champion a safe working environment and always promote adherence to safety protocols.
- Rearrange manpower to meet production goals, as necessary. Recommend overtime, request additional employees, or reduce work force, as necessary.
- Build, develop, and hold the team accountable for operational excellence, aligned with company values and culture.
- Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel.
- Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees.
- Produce quality products according to very precise specifications within time constraints.
- Responsible for inventory management and purchasing.
- Evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
- Set up and operate production machinery.
- Maintain equipment quality and readiness to support production demands.
- Responsible for overseeing OSHA safety standards.
- Participate/Engage in accountability Meetings with Leadership Team and understand the Sales and Installation process to achieve company goals.
- Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management.
- Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.
