HTI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Lead for a food and dietary supplement manufacturing company in Grovetown, GA. Pay range: $28 – $36 / hour
Working hours: First shift, 4 10-hour days (Monday – Thursday)

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Sr. Maintenance Technician, Team Lead, or Supervisor in the manufacturing industry
Knowledge of food safety standards and FDA regulations in manufacturing
Technical degree or certification (or equivalent experience)
Proven track record in leading maintenance teams
Experience in maintenance project coordination and maintenance planning/scheduling
Proficiency with maintenance software and scheduling tools
Leadership or management training/certification preferred

Job Duties:

Prepare, assign and record daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules.
Train and guide Maintenance Technicians in both equipment and building maintenance.
Manage budget and resources allocated to both equipment and facility maintenance.
Manage maintenance requests, prioritizing food equipment and facility issues based on urgency and impact.
Maintain and update maintenance records for both equipment and building infrastructure.
Responsible for daily shift report with tracking of completion and open items.
Responsible for the scheduling, assigning, and tracking/reporting of preventive maintenance tasks
Responsible for oversight of significant building repairs or improvements.
Support the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring food equipment is maintained to FDA standards.
Prepare and coordinate projects with internal and external contractors.
Coordinate with external service providers for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring they understand food safety requirements.
Notify management if any repairs or maintenance issues pose a potential threat to employee or product safety.
Inform production managers of planned/preventive maintenance activities.
Monitor and control maintenance expenses including labor and overtime.
Maintain Maintenance Inventory with a daily >98% inventory accuracy.
Identify Key Maintenance parts and equipment.
Submit supply requests, specifying specific parts.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Support the implementation of new maintenance technologies or processes.
Coordinate building inspections, maintenance, and emergency responses.
Conduct performance reviews for maintenance team.
