Commercial Pool Service and Maintenance Lead Technician 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars 5024 S Atlanta Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30339 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in pool maintenance and repair. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and functioning properly, providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities Perform scheduled maintenance, water testing, equipment inspections, and chemical balancing at commercial pool sites. Diagnose and repair issues related to pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, chemical feeders, and plumbing. Lead a small team of technicians, assigning tasks, supervising work quality, and providing on-the-job training. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate service records, complete job reports, and communicate updates to the Service Manager and clients. Act as the primary point of contact for on-site client interactions; handle concerns or service requests professionally. Monitor chemical usage and inventory; notify management when supplies need to be reordered. Conduct equipment installations and assist with new system startups as needed. Respond to emergency service calls as required, including occasional after-hours or weekend work. Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience in commercial pool service or maintenance. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required. Strong knowledge of commercial pool equipment, water chemistry, hydraulics, and troubleshooting techniques. Leadership experience or proven ability to supervise and guide junior team members. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks under pressure. Must be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, climbing, bending, and working outdoors in various conditions. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
