Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing equipment which built for Lithium-Ion Battery Industry. He/she will also need to interact with other departments, customers and vendors to solve urgent complex problems by identifying and evaluating alternatives or by providing needed information and advice. This position requires some on-call support.

Role and Responsibilities:

Consult with maintenance engineer/production team or human resources to resolve employee relations problems for maintenance technicians he/she supervises Manage maintenance of the various production equipment Manage attendance of the maintenance technicians he/she supervises Coach and train operators he/she supervises to develop maintenance skills and general/technical competencies related to the production performance Appraise the maintenance technicians’ performance he/she supervises and give productive feedback Assign and direct work according to the production plans Responsible for achieving, monitoring, and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) Interpret company policies and procedures to operators and ensure that safety and process/quality policies are followed Recommend continuous improvement activities to improve quality and reduce cost Run, monitor, and supervise the maintenance technicians Monitor the maintenance and operation status of assigned facilities Report incidents or malfunctions of equipment and inquire maintenance according to the trouble correspondence manual Manage and support production environment improvement in light of 3R (Right material, Right quantity, Right position) and 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) Responsible for on-site EHS management activities Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance. Maintain a clean, safe and orderly maintenance area. Oversee preventative maintenance program. Collaborate in projects and troubleshooting that would improve the safety and profitable operation of the plant. Read and interpret blueprints, understanding pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, general physics and mechanics. Train and direct maintenance personnel in the safe and efficient operation of their jobs. Provide expertise to mechanics and machinists as needed. Prepare monthly/weekly/daily maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads. Schedule work of maintenance personnel to provide maximum machine utilization. Coordinate and schedule the activities of maintenance employees to ensure that maintenance work is performed in accordance with state and federal codes and regulations. Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handles employee relations concerns as needed and in accordance with company policy Order, organize and stock maintenance parts, equipment, and supplies Work Environment/Safety Management Manage and monitor production environment improvement in 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) Design and support countermeasure plan and take follow-up measures regarding preventing safety accidents Other tasks as assigned

Skill and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development) 20+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing industry preferred 2+ years of direct experience as a Maintenance Supervisor desired Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) (Preferred) Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar programs
