RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct, maintain and enforce the safety program for the maintenance department; review safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all employees Responsible for maintaining the safe operation of all equipment and building infrastructure Maintain maintenance budget and capital monies balancing the cost with equipment repair needs Responsible for ensuring equipment is maintained to comply with all environmental and health and safety requirements of the city, county, state and federal Responsible for the management, supervision and development of the maintenance department Ensure regulatory compliance with

NFPA-70E

(Arc Flash) for all maintenance activities within the Company Conduct employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge and contribution of the maintenance technicians Assist in the hiring of maintenance personnel Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions Implement programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness and accompanying 6S levels Track, analyze and improve key maintenance performances indices including asset utilization, up time, PM compliance, etc. Prepare reports, analyze data and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors Degree recommended Training pertaining to mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems 10+ years experience demonstrating the ability to lead in the maintenance environment Responsible for learning all equipment which requires a strong mechanical and electrical background Must have excellent computer skills to include, but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS maintenance program Must have proven technical aptitude for chemical processes, electrical and mechanical equipment Must be highly motivated individual with good written communication and presentations skills Must possess proven leadership skills with the ability to identify and develop the talents of maintenance personnel Must have the ability to work all shifts and follow all environmental, health and safety procedures IND1
