Summary :
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the department to effectively install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems in resort buildings and restaurants.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide clear direction for the maintenance team and ensure the assigned tasks are completed and properly documented. Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program, including inspections of smoke detectors, door locks, HVAC systems, and other critical components. Conduct life safety training and maintain accurate records; ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal OSHA regulations. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair life safety systems, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems. Diagnose equipment issues, make repairs, and install or replace necessary parts. Perform light carpentry, painting, and furniture repairs to uphold resort aesthetics. Fabricate, install, and maintain structures such as counters, benches, and partitions. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated machinery and programmable controllers. Perform regular inspections and testing of all resort equipment, systems, and safety features. Maintain thorough records of all maintenance work, inspections, and completed projects. Oversee vendor relationships, manage inventory, and procure necessary maintenance tools and supplies within budget parameters. Support the training and development of maintenance team members. Monitor and maintain the appearance, safety, and cleanliness of the property grounds, parking areas, and landscaping. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from all departments and ensure effective resolution. Provide a warm greeting to guests and assist with resort and local area information when needed.
