QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
- Two -or more years’ experience in shop floor production and one year or more experience as foreman or supervisor.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings/blueprints operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
ABILITY TO READ A TAPE MEASURE TO 1/16

BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS IS A MUST.
Responsibilities
The role of the shop foreman is to oversee the shop, Machine operators, and Material handlers
Responsible to act by the policies outlined in the Employee Handbook
Daily responsibilities include maximizing production, minimizing cost, managing personnel advance information flow, promoting safety, and ensuring a top-quality end product

Maintain and control inventory of consumable needs in the department
