Service Manager Ecoauto Conyers, GA 30013 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auto service management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Service Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of technicians, and ensure that all service work meets our high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Manage and supervise the service department, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery. Oversee service writing processes, ensuring accurate documentation of customer requests and services performed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly. Collaborate with mechanics to facilitate effective communication regarding repairs, maintenance, and parts needed. Monitor the performance of the team, providing training and support to enhance skills in areas such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and other automotive services. Drive sales initiatives within the service department to promote automotive services and products. Maintain an organized workflow in the shop while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Analyze service reports to identify trends and areas for improvement within the department. Requirements Proven experience in auto service management or a similar role within the automotive industry. Strong skills in service writing and customer service; ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of automotive repair processes including oil changes, brake repair, tire service, and general mechanic duties. Sales experience is a plus; ability to promote additional services effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A strong commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences while maintaining operational efficiency.
