  • Maintenance is responsible for leading and directing the maintenance mechanics performing preventative/corrective maintenance procedures to ensure equipment reliability.

Train team members on technical processes in order to perform timely repairs and high quality Preventive Maintenance (P.M’s). Ensure that the equipment operates up to its original performance and quality specifications.

What your day will look like:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the UNITED policies and applicable lawsInterview, hire, and train associatesPlan, assign, and direct workAppraise performanceAddress complaints and resolve problemsBuilds positive associate moraleDevelop and implement scheduled Preventive Maintenance (P.M’s)Develop work schedules of the mechanicsDirect mechanics in performing proper and correct repairsEnforce parts room procedures to help ensure that proper parts are available when neededEnforce all safety policies of the DepartmentPromote Food Safety in all areas of MaintenanceDirectly supervises Maintenance employeesEffective use of all maintenance operating systems up to and including Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Production Line Monitoring System (PLMS)Performs appropriate duties as assigned by managementWhat you need to succeed:

Minimum age 18 years oldValid driver’s license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policyPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policiesRegular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelinesAbility to maintain safety and security of Company assetsAbility to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyStrong leadership and organizational skillsProven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associatesAssociate degree (A.
