Position Summary:

The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the reliable operation of machinery and equipment. This role demands strong leadership, mechanical skills, and the ability to solve complex maintenance issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily maintenance operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to company standards. Lead, train, and mentor maintenance technicians and millwrights to enhance team performance. Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and industrial machinery. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and develop proactive maintenance strategies. Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory. Monitor compliance with safety regulations and implement best practices to reduce risks. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are readily available. Provide regular reports on maintenance performance, downtime, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

5+ years of millwright or mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting. Proven leadership experience in supervising maintenance teams. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment. Proficiency with industrial tools, equipment, and maintenance software. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a valid driver’s license. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage team dynamics. Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with maintenance management software.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, climb, and work in confined spaces or heights. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.
