Job Description

Job Summary:

The overall guiding expectation is that the supervisor will actively engage with our customer’s site leader(s) and full-time field employees to ensure PSC strives to achieve excellent performance in the areas of safety, environmental and overall job quality. The main duties of the supervisor are to lead and train employees in cleaning, repair and maintenance of tank cars and ISO containers.

Work Schedule:

M-F 7:00am

  • 3:30pm, but times could vary based on scheduled jobs.

Must be able to work overtime if needed. Some evenings and weekends are required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure all work complies with company & customer safety standards. Develop and enforce cleaning procedures, permits, and environmental compliance programs. Plan and oversee industrial railcar cleaning (e.g., steaming, flaring, hydro-blasting, chemical cleaning). Hire, train, and manage staff to meet operational goals. Collaborate with leadership on environmental systems and process improvements. Maintain customer relationships and ensure service expectations are met. Monitor operations, analyze performance, and implement efficiency improvements. Uphold KPIs and enforce performance, quality, and safety standards. Maintain clean, safe, and well-equipped work environments. Lead by example in safety practices and ensure proper equipment maintenance. Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job

Preferred Job Qualifications:

Experience in a leadership role involving railcar cleaning operations, safety, and training Knowledge of OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning Hazardous Materials Ability to read and interpret and SDS Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to build trust Attentive and active listening skills 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S. Stable work history with good references from past employers Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check PSC is a veteran-friendly company.
