experience (6-10 years) Senior level Leadership Communication skills Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Maintenance to oversee, schedule, and manage all maintenance, preventative maintenance, and new store installs within our company. This leadership role requires a strong background in project management, electrical systems, and HVAC, and restaurant kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, ensuring that our maintenance team operates efficiently and effectively to maintain the function of the buildings and equipment in all locations. The job will require a combination of time on location and time at office. This maintenance team privately services 19 existing Sonic Drives and a growing coffee chain called 7Brew. Duties Managing a current Maintenance Team of Three Ensuring Completion of Works Orders and Monitoring Quality of Work Implementing and ensuring completion of Preventive Measures Coordinating Hiring and Continued Training of Staff Conducting repairs and tests on site Setting maintenance policies Inspecting plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems Contracting and overseeing work that cannot be performed by in-house staff. Coordinating and Overseeing New Store Equipment Installs Hosting Maintenance Training Classes for Management Team Requirements Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in project management, scheduling, and vendor coordination Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they escalate. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High Standard of quality of Work and upholding of standards. Willingness to commute to Locations ranging from Alexandria to Laplace. Vehicle and Fuel Provided.
