The residents of our apartment communities are highly dependent on the services our maintenance teams provide with respect to the upkeep of their apartment home and community. up to $25/hour ( depends on experience) Generous Paid Time Off! Our goal is to employ team members who embody our mission statement: “To be known within the communities we serve – as a dependable real estate development and management company, consistently providing properties with exceptional levels of service, management, style, comfort and amenities, as well as creating and sustaining long-term value for our partners” As a Maintenance Supervisor, you are responsible for the presentation building and grounds to residents (current and prospective), helping establish the foundation for success through efficient maintenance and cultivate the culture of Bearing Point Property Management. You also work to create the best experience for current and prospective residents, participate with management to reach occupancy goals and develop loyal relationships with service providers and residents. The position reports to the Community Manager and is a hourly non-exempt employee. Prior experience working in multifamily residential maintenance, preferably in a supervisory position; number of years preferred depends on size of property and team. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all day to day maintenance operations including but not limited to:
- Manage maintenance of property, manage Vendors; ensure compliance and adherence to company policy
- Assist Community Manager with all maintenance needs of property
- Walk all move outs units; assess and schedule all needed turn work
- Manage completion of work orders in a timely manner per company policy
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping; update software with regard to work orders, turn schedules, material and tool inventory
- Maintain adequate stock of necessary tools and equipment; ensure basic maintenance supplies are readily available to maintenance staff at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of the community to include grounds, clubhouse, resident amenity spaces, hallways, breezeways, etc.
- Conduct preventative maintenance
- Assist in vendor relations and scheduling
- Participate in training and education programs as deemed necessary
OTHER CERTIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- HVAC training/experience, required
- Universal EPA Certification, required
- Certified Pool Operator, preferred
