(Metairie) Arts Apartments at West Napoleon ‹ image 1 of 1 › 2408 Houma Blvd compensation: $$$ employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Maintenance Supervisor Arts Apartments at West Napoleon is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have industry experience and be proficient in various technical areas, including HVAC, electrical systems and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of community to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance.
- Oversee HVAC systems, electrical systems and other critical infrastructure.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades or repairs, including planning, execution and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices, safety protocols and technical skills.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate repairs as necessary.
Experience:
- Proven experience in related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems and general maintenance practices.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
- Previous experience supervising a team is highly desirable.
