We’re currently seeking an experienced Service Manager with a solid background in construction or agricultural equipment—particularly mobile crane service and operations—to lead and elevate our Service Department. Position Summary The Service Manager will oversee all aspects of service operations, with a strong focus on mobile crane maintenance and repair, ensuring high performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability. - Lead day-to-day operations of the Service Department, with an emphasis on mobile crane diagnostics, repair, and maintenance
- Manage and develop a team of technicians, ensuring timely, efficient service scheduling and quality repair execution
- Maintain a customer-first service culture and ensure technicians are properly trained and safety-conscious
- Deliver consistent, high-quality service across all equipment lines, especially mobile cranes
- Drive productivity and profitability through effective repair strategies, workflow optimization, and cost controls
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with a focus on proactive communication and service excellence
- Oversee and process warranty claims efficiently to benefit both customers and the company
- Generate and analyze service performance reports to monitor departmental success
- Ensure a clean, well-maintained, and safe shop environment in compliance with all safety standards and company policies Service Manager Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience in a service or field operations setting (construction or agricultural equipment industry preferred)
- Strong technical background with a preference for experience in mobile crane repair or operations
- Prior hands-on experience as a service or field technician is highly advantageous
- Natural team leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Committed to exceptional customer service and results-oriented management
