JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of the entire hotel property—interior, exterior, and grounds—in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Also responsible for supervising the maintenance team, creating schedules, and ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, and ensure completion of preventive maintenance and safety measures on all hotel equipment and room assets per timeline. Supervise maintenance staff, assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide support and training as needed. Create and manage weekly work schedules for the maintenance team to ensure full operational coverage. Place orders for tools, parts, and maintenance supplies to ensure the department is properly stocked. Understanding electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and electronic systems. Experience in painting. Troubleshooting problems on various types of equipment and building systems. Knowing equipment safety systems and processes. Keeping the grounds and landscaping neat and clean. Responsible for all interior and exterior asset maintenance and protection. Work closely with other departments to ensure the guest experience is always a top priority. Respond promptly to maintenance issues around the property. Maintain the pool, pool area, and pool equipment in safe and clean condition. Perform regular inventory checks on light bulbs, paint, gas, tools, hardware, and equipment. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations for the maintenance team. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with hotel safety policies and local codes.
