Fleet Mgr 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Hammond, LA 70403 Job Summary Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Fleet Manager based out of our Hammond, LA plant to oversee maintenance and upkeep of company equipment and inventory in our Gulf Region. This role is responsible for management of shop personnel and equipment. Day to Day Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations. Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned Be an integral part of the regional management team leading the management of the division’s equipment maintenance and the procurement of equipment for the aggregate operations located in the Gulf Region (LA, MS, AL, FL, GA) Work with the local mobile field mechanics to manage and schedule repairs, troubleshooting Locate and order parts Manage capital repairs Preventive Maintenance Program-develop PM schedules and define intervals Lubricants-oil analysis Support plants to ensure they have the equipment to do the job Manage replacement equipment Assist or schedule operator training
About You:
Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance Positive, Team-based attitude Minimum of five years hands on experience with mobile equipment fleets Proficient in Microsoft Office products Experience with OEM diagnostic software is a plus Pre-employment drug screening Background check
