MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN AEROPRES CORPORATION
– Celebrating 52 Years! Great company. Great people. Aeropres Corporation is an innovative nation-wide manufacturer of environmentally friendly aerosol propellants. We are currently seeking a Shop/Lead Maintenance Technician to join the team at our manufacturing plant located in Sibley, Louisiana.
Leadership & Shop Oversight :
> Supervise daily operations of the truck and trailer maintenance shop. > Assign tasks to technicians and ensure timely completion of work orders. > Train and mentor junior mechanics; promote a culture of safety and accountability. > Maintain inventory control using our maintenance tracking and inventory software. Job Duties include but are not limited to: Repair and maintain all heavy, medium, and light duty trucks, cars, tractors, forklifts and fire pumps and transport trailers Maintains trailer equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records. Determines condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts. Place decals on transport and storage tanks in accordance with regulations. Perform PM inspections on all company vehicles. Procure vehicle condition reports from drivers for maintenance or repair action. Perform VK, annual, hydro, and UCI inspections. Assure that all company vehicles and trailers are in compliance with DOT regulations. Wash trucks and trailers when needed. Perform repairs on LP-gas pumps and valves. Mount and change tires; replace worn brakes and broken springs. Repair P.T.O. systems and leaking valves.
Qualifications :
Applicants will have 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience. A strong understanding of
FMCSA/DOT
regulations. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Ideal applicants will have a strong commitment to safety, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
