Maintenance and Facilities Manager Position Available In Berkshire, Massachusetts

Maintenance and Facilities Manager Camp Lenox 2042 N Main Rd, Otis, MA 01253 periods Camp Lenox seeks a Full-Time Facilities Manager . The Facilities Manager plays an active role in coordinating and maintaining the summer camp, its buildings, sports fields, plumbing, electrical, and water. New construction also occurs during the off season. Responsibilities Maintains buildings and grounds Works with the Camp Director to coordinate long-range, work, safety, and emergency plans Implements preventative maintenance schedules with the Camp Director Maintaining day-to-day functionality of facilities, including delegating or completing maintenance orders Performs routine maintenance and makes repairs as needed and/or required Responds to maintenance requests from staff Coordinates the work of service contractors (i.e. gas, inspections, Supply orders) Schedules routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors Operates, maintains, and repairs the water and plumbing system Prepares the campus for changing weather conditions On-call in charge of maintenance staff

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Practical experience in General Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, Landscaping, Carpentry, Painting Experience with heavy machinery is a plus (forklift, tractor, snow plow, etc.) Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs Must be able to work at heights (ladders, roofs, etc.) Must be able to work standing for extended periods (indoor and outdoor, year-round) Must possess excellent time management, leadership, and prioritization skills Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
