Maintenance Manager Position Available In Berkshire, Massachusetts

Maintenance Manager Blue Vista Motor Lodge North Adams, MA 01247 The Maintenance Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the business and thrives in an environment where they can do a little bit of everything. This position includes some hours as the Manager on Duty, where you will balance guest service with maintenance and repair tasks. Successful candidates genuinely enjoy interacting with people and being actively engaged throughout the day.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a combination of: Customer Service Construction, Painting, Maintenance, or Facility Management Landscaping and snow removal Solid Computer, Communication and Phone Skills required Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Repairs and Maintenance:

Keep all guest rooms and common areas in good repair Touch up painting, caulking and plastering as needed Oversee weekly generator inspection Conduct daily and weekly hot tub and sauna maintenance and cleaning tasks Assist with landscaping and snow removal Address any facility related issues that are identified by the housekeeping and front desk teams

Guest Experience:

Act as the Manager on Duty for a minimum of 2 opening shifts per week Implement our opening procedures checklist Ensure an excellent guest experience while interacting with guests, responding to guest needs, managing bookings and answering inquiries on the phone or online. Provide guests with access to our fire pits, hot tubs and sauna Handle any non-routine guest issues in a professional, courteous, and expedient manner

Compensation:

$20 – $22/hour commensurate with experience 20 – 30 hours per week
