Maintenance Supervisor 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Haverhill, MA 01830 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. This role is crucial for ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, along with project management skills to lead a team effectively. Duties Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems, including HVAC, to identify issues and implement necessary repairs or maintenance. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory management, and scheduling preventive maintenance tasks. Manage projects related to maintenance upgrades or installations, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices in maintenance procedures, including electrical systems and low voltage applications. Review schematics and technical documentation to troubleshoot issues effectively. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies while fostering a culture of safety within the team. Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of electrical systems, including logic controllers. Familiarity with project management principles and practices. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to maintain a positive work environment while leading a diverse team. Previous experience with low voltage systems is preferred but not mandatory.
