Portland, Maine, United States Job Description Description Summary:
The Facility Planner role performs tactical space planning and execution for highest and best use scenarios, develops planning and feasibility studies, conducts analysis for short- and long-range space utilization and analyses of existing space use, and develops options for facility improvements and renovations.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field or five years of experience in healthcare planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance required.

Knowledge and experience with AIA contracts, forms, and procedures. Knowledge and experience with FGI Guidelines for the Design and Construction of Healthcare Facilities, International Building Codes, Life Safety Code, ADA, Joint Commission, Hazardous Material Abatement, electrical, mechanical/plumbing and building maintenance, HVAC systems and energy conservation.
