Job Description
Lead Facilities-Maintenance Person RSU No 38 2250 Millard Harrison Drive, Readfield, ME 04355
Job Goal:
To support the facilities team in ensuring district students, staff, and community members are provided with a safe, clean, and inviting environment. The successful candidate will perform maintenance, carpentry, and plumbing work for all district buildings as well as cover necessary responsibilities in the absence of the facilities director.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and equipment repair
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize a variety of responsibilities and complete work in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to develop trusting, productive relationships.
- Basic computer skills
- Proven record of positive working relationships
Certifications:
Hold or be able to obtain a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) from the Maine Department of Education.
