The Maintenance Director is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations at our property. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residents have a safe and well maintained community to enjoy, including both their apartments, as well as our various amenities. Benefits Include Competitive Salary Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Life Insurance Paid vacation and holidays Living on-site with a very generous apartment rent discount Responsibilities Direct and oversee all aspects of the Maintenance Department, including but not limited to: budgeting, scheduling, training, safety, compliance, and quality control Review maintenance requests from residents and responding in a timely manner, prioritizing urgent repairs and communicating with residents throughout the process Coordinate communication between management and staff regarding the status of maintenance projects Inspect buildings for signs of structural damage or other issues that could lead to safety problems Advise, Lead, and Repair equipment and units per Lindsey Management standards Coordinate with contractors to complete preventative maintenance Must be available on-call as needed Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled Skills and Qualifications Maintenance management experience (5+ years preferred) Working knowledge of building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety standards Strong organization and communication skills High school diploma or equivalent qualification Bachelor’s degree in business administration, facility management, or a similar field is preferred Must live on-site (call for details on apartment rent discount!)
