Landscape/Irrigation Crew Leader Position Available In St. Charles, Missouri

Metro Lawn Sprinkler Systems, Inc. is looking to fill multiple permanent, full-time Landscape/Irrigation Crew Leader positions.

Begin/report to work: 291 Indacom Dr., St. Peters, St Charles County, MO 63376. Employer will transport workers daily between report to work address and additional worksites.

Additional worksites: (work throughout the following counties/areas): Franklin, MO, Jefferson, MO, Lincoln, MO, St. Charles, MO, St. Louis city, MO, St. Louis, MO, Warren, MO, Washington, MO and areas of Southeast Missouri nonmetropolitan area, St. Louis, MO-IL.

Duties:

Oversee a small crew of landscape laborers and perform required duties: mulching, raking, trimming of plants, mowing and edging, install/maintenance/repairs on new and existing landscape, hardscape, irrigation, landscape lighting, and drainage using hand/power tools, snow removal, drive small truck, Monitor and train that proper equipment and personal safety measures are followed. Inspect and maintain equipment. Inspect each worksite as duties completed. Prepare daily crew time-sheets; paperwork. Monitor loading of tools, gas, equipment and stock as needed and other activities and other related Landscape/Irrigation Crew Leader activities as per

SOC/OES 37-1012

(onetonline.org).

Standard/Expected Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00AM-6:00PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Work is performed outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable weather conditions apply.

Terms:

Employer will comply with all applicable Federal, State and local employment-related laws and regulations such as wages, breaks, hours worked, and overtime hours (overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. If overtime is worked, wage is paid at 1.5x regular rate of pay per hour worked beyond 40 hours each week.).

Requirements:

Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 40lbs. Must have 24 months Landscape experience. No minimum education requirement.

Wages and Conditions of Employment:

$55,390.00/Year.
