Diesel Shop Foreman:

Supervision and Leadership:

Directly supervises and leads a team of diesel mechanics, providing guidance, training, and support.

Work Management:

Assigns tasks, monitors progress, and ensures work is completed on time and to quality standards.

Technical Expertise:

Provides technical guidance and support to mechanics, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring proper repair procedures.

Safety and Compliance:

Enforces safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.

Reporting and Record Keeping:

Maintains accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inventory. Business hours are from 8am-5pm / Monday – Friday. All major holidays off. No Weekends. Closed the week of July 4th and Christmas week. Experience Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to mechanical work.
