Job Description
Building Maintenance Supervisor Sofidel Tissue Shelby, NC 28150 Building Maintenance Supervisor Sofidel America is seeking a skilled and motivated Building Maintenance Supervisor to manage the maintenance needs of our facility and grounds. This role reports to the Maintenance Manager and supports the Site Operations Managers in achieving corporate objectives, overseeing facility budgets, and managing renovations and expansions. The ideal candidate will estimate, and control costs related to building systems, labor, and facility contractor services.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise staff and activities in Building Maintenance, Housekeeping, Laser Guided Vehicles, Powered Industrial Truck Maintenance, and Fire Prevention. Manage budgets, projects, and vendor services for Facility operations. Oversee general building maintenance and site cleanliness. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of systems like HVAC, generators, and potable water systems. Maintain a safe and orderly work environment. Participate in meetings to address issues and stay informed on new policies. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
Associates degree and/or 5 years of related Facilities experience preferred. Mechanical and electrical skills with basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents. Strong math skills, including basic arithmetic.
