Coordinate, manage, or administer responsibilities while closely monitoring cost and timely delivery of products and services which are typically systemwide. Primary Responsibilities Administer fleet equipment capital budget and purchases Administer bulk fuel system maintenance and repair Manage emergency generator system purchase, maintenance, and repair Manage air compressor system purchase, maintenance, and repair Manage the purchase and repair of terminal equipment which includes, but not limited to, electric pallet jacks, snow scrapers and electric sweepers Manage forklift attachment purchases such as scales and carton clamps Manage new CapEx equipment purchases including initial outfitting of new shops including truck lifts, pressure washers, welders, plasma cutters, scrubbers, etc. Manage and coordinate additional special projects as required Manage & Maintain Oil Water Separator systems across company equipment and facilities. Coordinate compliance with emissions standards and regulations including, but not limited to, Clean Truck Check, Advance Clean Fleets, Off Road Diesel and Trailer Green House Gas.
Job Qualifications Education:
High school diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Equipment background such as understanding terminology, types of vehicles used in the fleet, bulk fuel systems, air compressors, generator sets, and forklift attachments. This includes how products are used along with their capacities, component’s identity and purpose, parts identity and purpose, general maintenance principles and repair concepts. Mechanical aptitude and comprehension abilities Experience working with multiple projects simultaneously in conjunction with internal teams and external suppliers or representatives in a task driven time sensitive environment Customer service oriented with internal and external entities Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), SAP, and SAP MM Excellent verbal and written communication skills Solid fundamental math skills Highly organized with proficiency in detailed record keeping Working knowledge of accounting concepts especially associated with purchase orders and accounts payable processes Disciplined to established processes Very detail oriented Research of products and/or services related to the responsibilities Demonstrated problem solving skills with new projects, established responsibilities, assignments, meeting internal customer needs, as well as working cooperatively with suppliers
