Position Overview:
- As a Crew Chief, you will lead and manage maintenance teams to ensure aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and performance standards. Your leadership will directly impact service quality, team productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Level I & II Responsibilities:
- + Supervise and coordinate A&P Technicians, Avionics Technicians, and/or Interior Technicians.
+ Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, and manage disciplinary actions. + Plan, assign, and direct maintenance activities to meet schedules. + Resolve operational and personnel issues, promoting a positive work environment. + Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and company policies. + Provide technical assistance and mentoring to team members. + Ensure safety procedures are followed and that employees are properly trained. + Support coordination with customer representatives and internal departments. + Assist with invoicing and administrative tasks. +
Level II:
Prepare maintenance estimates for customer approval.

Level III Additional Responsibilities:
- + Supervise and mentor Crew Chiefs I and II.
+ Hold inspection authority under repair station guidelines. + Approve aircraft for return to service post-maintenance/modification. + Act as a backup for direct supervisor/manager responsibilities. + Provide strategic oversight of manpower, materials, and maintenance schedules. + Create and approve customer estimates. + Monitor daily operations to ensure timely and quality aircraft maintenance. + Provide direction and support on complex troubleshooting and repair tasks. + Keep detailed and accurate aircraft maintenance records. + Stay current with evolving aircraft technologies and maintenance practices. + Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. + Wear appropriate uniforms and maintain professional appearance. + Maintain a reliable and punctual work schedule. + Perform other duties as assigned. + Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb. + Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. + Frequent use of hands for handling tools and equipment. + Capable of reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English. + Ability to interpret maintenance documentation, safety guidelines, and technical manuals. + Basic math and geometry/algebra skills required. All Levels:
- + Valid A&P license (or Repairman Certificate for applicable Avionics/Interior roles). + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Proven mechanical and technical aptitude. + Experience using hand and power tools. + Basic computer proficiency. + Valid state-issued driver’s license. + Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Level I:
- + 3-5 years of relevant aviation maintenance experience. + Prior experience as an A&P III Technician, Avionics III, or Interior III Technician. + Training via military, technical school, aeronautical academy, or an Aviation Associate’s Degree preferred.

Level II:
- + 6-10 years of aviation maintenance experience. + Proven experience as a Crew Chief I or equivalent supervisory role. + Advanced training or degree in aviation or related technical field preferred.

Level III:
- + 10+ years of aviation experience with progressive supervisory responsibilities. + Proven leadership experience at Crew Chief II level or equivalent. + Authorized to return aircraft to service; must meet inspection authorization standards.
