What you’ll do: Under the direction of the Process and Plant Managers, Divert’s Lead Technicians play a pivotal role as they drive operational efficiencies while championing our safety and culture initiatives. Our Lead Technicians work in our Analytics, Modular, and complete RNG facilities, utilizing cutting edge technology to solve the food waste crisis.

Shift Available:

Days, 2/2/3, 6 am to 6:30 pm This position is a safety-sensitive position and requires a clear mind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility for his/her safety as well as the safety of others.

Responsibilities:

Lead daily plant operations including shift handoffs where daily objectives are communicated to the team; communicate with fellow team members throughout the shift in regards to any issues within the plant and report operational shortcomings to the Process and Plant Managers in real time Covers gaps in all positions of the operation to handle callouts and vacations Ensures execution of daily sanitation tasks Leads special projects and plant improvement projects Assists with logistics of unloading of trailers as needed to meet deadlines Leads the rerouting of material as needed Ensuring the team adheres to all safety guidelines including but not limited to PPEs, LOTO, Fall Prevention, Confined Space, Hot Work, and more Conducts daily plant audits Troubleshoots and leads the maintenance and repair of feedstock processing equipment Completes PM and maintenance on numerous types of equipment including but not limited to: three phase motors, gearboxes, hydraulic power units, compressors, augers, submersible sump pumps, progressive cavity pumps, pressure washers, hammermill, strainpress, forklifts, pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, and more Other duties as assigned What we’re looking for: HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience 2 year Technical Degree, Associate’s degree, or Military background is a plus 1-3 years Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, or Auto Mechanic experience 1-3 years in a Leadership role Forklift experience required Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication in English Basic computer proficiency and mathematical skills Experience leading in a fast-paced environment Willing to work overtime What’s in it for you? $28 per hour Health, Vision and Dental Benefits (effective the first of the month following your date of hire!)
